Bath Abbey and Heritage Vaults

This magnificent medieval church was built in 1499 over the foundations of a ruined Norman cathedral. Marvellous stone work and splendid stained glass grace the chapels. Visitors may go underground to the Heritage Vaults, past cellars from houses that have been transformed into a museum. The Abbey is the setting for concerts and also regular worship.
